How do I pay for the care?
There is no charge for your initial exam. Should orthodontic treatment be recommended and diagnostic records taken for study, a nominal fee will be charged. The records fee will be $200.00,which includes full mouth x-ray, models, and a cephalometric film. After we have diagnosed and discussed the treatment and you are ready to proceed, the office manager will review the various payment options. Will insurance cover the care? Should you have any questions concerning your insurance, our staff will be happy to assist you. Be sure to bring your insurance forms with you. We will file your claims as a courtesy service. Due to variations of individual insurance policies, we suggest that you contact your insurance company or employer directly for more detailed information. Please go to Insurance FAQ for more details.
What is the average fee for orthodontic treatment? Orthodontic fees can vary widely depending upon the individual case. The best way to get an accurate quote is to schedule an orthodontic exam. Some very simple cases can be treated with a retainer and the fees for this type of case are typically below $500. The majority of patients we treat require braces which involves considerably more time and expense. The typical orthodontic fee will range from $3,500 to $5,200, with the average being approximately $4,500. Although fees vary by patient and case, most fees fall within the following range based upon our cases from 2008.
