Andrew J. Haas, D.D.S., M.S., Orthodontist (retired from active practice)
Our founder and father, Dr. Andrew Haas, is a graduate of St. Vincent High School and the University of Akron. He received his dental degree from Loyola University in 1953, and after a two year dental residency in the Air Force, he returned to school and received his orthodontic degree from the University of Illinois in 1957.
Dr. Andrew Haas has been a professor in orthodontics at the Ohio State University, Loyola University and currently at the University of Illinois. He is also a member of The Continuing Education Faculty at Temple University. He has published many articles in orthodontic literature and has delivered more than 450 courses and papers in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Germany, Austria, Spain, England, Denmark, France, Israel, Brazil, Columbia, and Venezuela.
Retired from active clinical practice in June 2006, Dr. Haas is still actively involved in teaching and research. In addition, his input and experience is always a welcome addition to our treatment planning of difficult and complex cases.
Dr. Haas is the proud father of eight children and currently has 24 grandchildren. His outside interests include golf, skiing, fishing, and traveling.
